my roomate’s pc had a trouble with its internet connection for 1 day,so she decided to call the PLDT cutomers service hotline to check on what was wrong with her connection, since she was disconnected for more than a day;
but she was not so familar with the terms and commands in troubleshooting the pc so she asked me to help her out, so i was the one talking to the agent on the other line, then we came to a part that he wanted me to type “ipconfig /release” in the comand prompt (for sure the c prompt will close for you have to type cmd first before you type any commands), but still i follwed what he said and told him the result, but he never mention about the “cmd”, instead he said that the pc have a virus and suggested to call them again after it was cleaned, i protested that the pc had a regular scanning but still he insisted his suggestion. tsk tsk very poor customer service.virus? toobad i forgot his name.
